Every summer, extreme temperatures in Rajasthan place thousands of animal at risk of dehydration and exhaustion. Through our seasonal bird rescue initiative, volunteers install water bowls, provide food, and rescue injured animal that cannot survive in the harsh heat.
During one rescue campaign near Govindsar, dozens of exhausted pigeons and sparrows were found suffering from dehydration. Our volunteers quickly provided water, food, and veterinary care before safely releasing many of them back into their natural habitat.
The initiative has helped protect hundreds of animal every year while encouraging local communities to participate by placing water pots outside their homes and workplaces.
